Build v1.120.1 is the current Free Fire Beta trial, and its changelog tells you exactly what the developers are thinking about right now. We installed it on all five test phones and played the changes hard. Here is what matters.
Character balance takes the headline
Several dominant skills from the last cycle have been retuned, and two reworked abilities are being trialed with new cooldown and effect values. If you main specific characters, this build is where you learn how they will feel next season. The new characters spotlight goes deeper on what to test.
Weapon tuning and Bermuda tweaks
Mid-range rifles and SMGs received spread and damage-falloff adjustments aimed at making close-quarters fights less one-sided. Bermuda gets new cover placements around high-traffic drop zones, which changes early-game rotations more than it sounds.
Performance and polish
Loading times are improved, a round of crash fixes from the previous trial is included, and the settings layout for sensitivity and HUD customization is clearer. On our test rack the build ran stable, with the budget Galaxy A13 holding playable frame rates on the Smooth preset.
Remember: numbers are not final
Values in a beta can change before the official update, which is the entire point of the trial. Play the changes, note what feels off, and report it in-game. Grab the build from the Free Fire Beta download page, and read how beta updates work to stay current. The Free Fire Beta APK homepage always lists the latest trial build.
How we tested this build
We installed v1.120.1 on all five test phones and played ranked-style matches for several days. Character skills were compared against the changelog line by line, frame rates were measured on the budget Galaxy A13 and the Pixel 8, and every crash was logged with its trigger. The build passed on all five devices.
What to watch in the next build
The retuned skills are the ones most likely to change again. If a reworked ability feels too strong or too weak, report it now: mid-cycle balance passes are common, and tester data is what drives them. The next build will show whether the developers agreed with the feedback.
